Dr Darryl Carlton is a researcher and practitioner in the field of IT project management, with a particular emphasis on the causes of IT project failure, and the consequences and impact of failure on client organisations. Darryl holds a PhD in Business Information Systems, and is currently undertaking research in the School of Law at RMIT into the consequences of project failure and the role of arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution in project outcomes. Darryl has led more than 20 IT projects ranging in value from $1.8m to $1.5b, where he was responsible for program management, architecture, strategy, and commercial negotiations.
Dr Richard Stejer is a corporate trainer, facilitator and advisor with government agencies and organisations across the Asia-Pacific. His expertise includes project management planning and quality assurance. He has a longstanding interest in sustainability, having grown up near Yellowstone National Park. He has since taught regenerative grazing practices in arid climates and consulted on social responsibility and finance industry ethics in the aftermath of the Banking Royal Commission. He has a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Macquarie University.
