SAFe for Teams Overview
Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) empowers complex organisations to achieve the benefits of Lean-Agile software and systems development at scale. Build the skills needed to become a high-performing team member on an Agile Release Train (ART)—and learn how to collaborate effectively with other teams—by becoming a SAFe Practitioner (SP). During this two-day course, attendees gain an in-depth understanding of the qualities of high-performing agile Teams, the ART and how it delivers value, and what they can do to effectively perform their role using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
Attendees also learn how to write stories and break down features, plan and execute Iterations, and experience a PI Planning event. Finally, attendees learn about the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, the importance of a DevOps culture, how to effectively integrate with other teams on the ART, and what it takes to continuously improve.

Attending this course prepares you to take the SAFe® 6.0 Practitioner certification exam and become a Certified SAFe Practitioner. The exam is a multiple choice, closed-book, web-based examination (90 mins, 45 questions, 77% passing score) taken after course completion.
Attendees who pass the exam will receive:

- Certified SAFe Practitioner digital badge to promote your accomplishment online

Note: First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion.
Attendees must attend both days of the course to be eligible for the exam.
Participants who have been awarded the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® are eligible to earn 14 PDUs for their participation in this course (12.5 Ways of Working, 0.25 Business Acumen and 1.25 Power Skills).
Participants holding any of the Project Management accreditations (CPPP/CPPM/CPPD) are eligible to earn 20 CPDs for this short course.
All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SP certification exam:
- Familiarity with agile concepts and principles
- Awareness of Scrum, Kanban, and XP
- Working knowledge of software and hardware development processes
Where is the training venue located?
Sydney courses are held at 45 Clarence Street, Sydney.
Brisbane courses are held at 215 Adelaide Street, Brisbane.

Is this a certified course?
Yes. The exam for this course is to be undertaken online within 6 months of completing the 2 day training course. Upon passing the exam you will be certified. PM-Partners will provide you with the details and log-ins during the course.
Our website offers three payment options for training courses. When you select "BOOK NOW" you will be taken to the checkout. Step two: "Billing Details" is where you can select from the three payment options:
- Credit Card Payments: PM-Partners uses Stripe payment gateway to process Visa, Mastercard, Amex, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay transactions. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry so you can be confident that your card details are protected for online purchases.
- Bank Transfer: We cannot guarantee your registration(s) until your payment is cleared (bank transfers take 3 days to process). Instructions for payment by bank transfer will be provided at the end of the order process.
- Invoice: An invoice will be sent to you after you complete the booking. Payment is required 14 days before the course start date. If you're buying within 14 days, you need to arrange payment ASAP with a minimum of 72 hours before course start date.
